I wanted to experiment with ambient logo backgrounds in Adobe After Effects, so I turned to my good old friend YouTube for answers. I found this tutorial by swissives
This tutorial was great example of using the camera and it’s depth of field feature. After completing the tutorial I swapped out the crosses for my logo. I then exported the image as an animated gif in Adobe Media Encoder, here’s the final animation.
I think i speak for everyone when I say, we all love concept art! But when you think of concept art, you think of video game characters or fictional movie characters like aliens or monsters. For Jason Heuser he imagines the Presidents of the United States! That’s right the Presidents in crazy, insane, ridiculous scenarios!!! Some of these literally had me cracking up and laughing out loud at my desk this morning, especially the Ben Franklin VS. Zeus!!!

I have recently shown a great interest in Typography and have seen many different things done, but nothing like this! Lex Wilson an illustrator and graphic designer from Cambridge, UK shows off his illustration skills and his knowledge of type in these highly creative uses of typography. I am definitely going to try some of these myself!

I love pin-up art and found Kleber Darcia a 3D artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil. His work really makes my jaw drop with the amount of realism and detail he puts into his work. But at the same time he does have a cartoony fun side.
